Day 9- Mykonos

Day 9- Mykonos, Greece
Today we are on the island of Mykonos. Mykonos is known for its beautiful beaches and white windmills. We started our day with breakfast in the dinning room and then headed out to a water taxi. We had no real plan for this island, other than we wanted to go to the beach. We figured we would walk to a beach instead of trying to catch one of the 30 taxis that were on the island. When we got ashore we realized that there wasn't a beach nearby and that we would have to find some transportation. We found a quad rental place and got two of them. We spent about 2 hours touring around the island on our quads and finally settled on a beach called Paraga. This beach was beautiful with clear, blue water and warm sand. It was also a nude beach, which we didn't realize until after we had paid for our chairs. After a few hours soaking up the sun and swimming, we decided to head back to the ship. Although Mykonos was a beautiful island, it wasn't our favorite. It catered to the party crowd, which isn't really our thing. After returning to the ship we relaxed on deck until the ship pulled out of port. Later, we headed to dinner in the dinning room and then enjoyed a beautiful sunset from one of the decks.
